The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 剧本足够好，致敬那个年代的艰苦奋斗，这就值得五星了
虽然剧情上有诸多硬伤，这位女演员的演绎也太过霸总了一些，但桑杰导演还是保证了观众视听上的享受，最后花车游街一幕也算颇为动人。勉强三星半。

当然影视作品还是需要一点起伏的，女主受磨难是第一重，接着就该女主站起来了。这里面安排了一个讲原则的黑帮老大作为女主的‘贵人’。很快女主就收服了一批人。

最后的最后，只要你的父母是爱你的，在择偶的时候听他们的意见不会错的，没有父母会希望自己的孩子过得不好！！
前面大半部分都没什么感觉，直到最后连队报数时：第七穿插连应到一百五十七人，实到一人。有点绷不住了。
