The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 看完才知道这部电影为什么会广受好评，确实是用心了
这剧本不好写。虽然主角之一是机器人，但没有AI觉醒之类的老套，讲的还是人。没有故作深沉，却在一个个大大小小的事件，汤姆汉克斯的沧桑神态，和机器人的一个个动作细节中道出了人性的善良、自私、渴望、矛盾。不矫情，深度恰到好处。
配乐特别好，apple tv还是没有一部非常出色的电影

如果结尾是开场，一个机器人和一只狗的故事，应该会很酷吧。
真好。尤其是后半段。影院即将下线，切勿错过。
非常简洁，简单。没有很多年前《我是传奇》那样的悬疑与动作。只是简单地讲了一个末世小故事。非常适合当下疫情的心境，如果没有这场疫情，也许我们就不会这么悲观。

就很舒服。改稿改到生无可恋的一周，太需要这类电影来开启周末，莫名被戳到。那些企图一萌遮百丑的片子都快来学学。喜欢Jeff～
已经开始想象如果最后狗狗也去世了，杰夫会是多么的孤独。杰夫最开始喜欢的名字是莎士比亚，或许那才是真正to be or not to be的时刻。

电影海报也太动画味了吧，可是片子特点是逼真啊！
最大的亮点是画面细节做得不错，但故事过于简单直白且陈旧，没见过一个电影把主题挂在人物嘴上一个向观众念叨的。《乐夏》的音乐塞得这么满，让我恍惚觉得导演是马东。
也太好了吧！没想到年底收获了这部院线电影～
疫情隔离期间看这部电影，更会唤起内心对生活的向往吧。
这部片子太难得，不仅没有僵尸，也没有团伙军阀、没有大阴谋，只是纯粹孤独、带着浪漫的公路片。
此片就像苹果翻新库存重新上架一样，毫无新意，可有可无的产品。适合拍成10分钟短片。
