The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 走路都颤颤巍巍，还能征服寡妇驯服野马…在那个警局都没有的墨西哥小镇，老牛仔既能把牛仔精神传承给下一代（下一代是个墨西哥新移民了），又彻底告别打打杀杀，凭治愈动物的一技之长造福乡邻，找到人生归宿，感觉有点「礼失而求诸野」的意思，也是东木君与他的牛仔电影生涯做的平静道别了吧
说实在的……只把奥斯卡的趴当背景音听的……每个有意思的ip到了你坞第二部就只剩哥斯拉式的大战了，毫不意外
这次终于没有人死了。近些年老东木的电影看起来是无限的套路，也充满着无解的人生选择题，就像他自己说的：你以为自己什么都懂，老了却发现什么事都没有答案，等你找到答案却为时已晚。在夜色中抽动嘴角哽咽着回忆自己伤心往事的画面好熟悉……
娱乐性更强了，有点违背了哥特反映现实的黑暗喜剧内核，但胜在制作精良，who doesn’t love watching the Family😏
东木老爷老了啊老了，不过依然有魅力，“是个好人”。一段旅程，让老少都找到了自己的归宿，少的和他爹交代的有些语焉不详，但重在旅程吧。

一部比一部烂。飞机上看睡了又醒来了还没完。
在哀叹东木老爷子老去的同时，更惊叹他一生对于电影的这腔热忱。说实话，这部影片只有两星水准，但面对已经过了耄耋之年的老爷子，内心真想给他打出五星。不管怎样，仍然不希望本片是东木的息影之作。
