The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 人物外形尤其女性太粗糙（很多女性特写镜头让人不舒服），头发细节不够，明明舞狮根根毛发都能做到随风摆动
有点程式化的故事，按流程走最后总能掐到点泪点。
希望未来也能够有独属于中国的女性题材动画。
粤语版和普通话版各看了一遍，太精彩了，既搞笑又感人，光影做得很漂亮，满山木棉花和天台独自舞狮这两场戏都很美，最后的比赛非常激动人心，很久没看到这么好看的国产动画了！毛不易的片尾曲很好听！

故事不新颖，画面比较细腻。想当然的被欺负，想当然的遇到恩师，想当然的获胜。
故事很简单，不过很适合当下的情境，汤姆汉克斯的独角戏不会让人失望，机器人萌得很。Bye bye miss American pie
