The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 成人往往会忘了自己孩童时的样子，但是偶尔不经意间又会表现出孩童的样子。本片恰到好处地体现了孩童的纯粹和暖度。其实演员都知道跟孩子演戏是极其吃亏的，但是华金还是做到了，他用温柔的演技包裹住了整部影片。看本片是极其舒适的，声效细腻又绵长，不过我不是很理解为什么要用黑白摄影。
感觉男孩的原生家庭和男主的纪录片项目各是一道命题，两边结合的还不够好。
一个简单的故事，喜欢这个表达。多一颗星给BGM。

杰昆真的是治愈系演员，感觉他很喜欢这一类性格的边缘化角色，有着感性温柔的内心，有着自己的脆弱，just trying to understand others , like all of us.常常会忍不住和他的角色产生共鸣，觉得那简直就是自己。

跟孩子相处，需要耐心、忍耐，无怨无悔，可不能跟小孩计较什么，一切以小孩为中心，这也是有前提的。
3.5。A24的品味真好，褪色的纽约与洛杉矶是如此的“冷漠”，而以舅舅这个角色进入到一个破碎的家庭里变成了“褪色”教育里的父亲、朋友。如访谈节目一样给观众们上一课，效果不是很佳.....
A24啊。四星半。Again，同Scenes from a marriage理，细水长流最考验表演，表演挺好。因为主题的原因，声音转场处理得都很好。The things you never wished for happens. So you just come on, come on, and come on.

在后期转制黑白，演员选了华金的情况下，却拍出了可能是颁奖季最温柔的一部电影。最大的优点当然是形式上的，纪录片式的采访贯穿始终，主要人物的表达也经常是站在受访者的视角。在主题上则有点保守，还是孩子和中年人互相取暖疗伤那套东西。不过在对原生家庭、亲子关系探讨越发极端的今天，这样菊次郎式的处理反而是一种另类了。

非常温柔的一部电影，娓娓道来，又像是叔侄的互相治愈之旅，很真诚很可爱，看得很舒服
It just reminds me again how much I love Mike Miles. Time and space and emotions are real in his films.
这类型的电影很多。C'mon C'mon这一部，黑白色确实增彩。片名来自Jesse 的台词。翻译成「呼朋引伴」。杰昆·菲尼克斯饰演Jesse的舅舅Johnny。
