The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一部温情的西部片，故事简单温和，伍德老爷子一把年纪还这么高产，劳模啊！和小朋友成了忘年交，一路很欢快。
虽然明显垂垂老矣，但那种对电影和风格的坚持，还是让人愿意看下去。老头子真的太厉害。

看多了爽片，偶尔看一下这么温馨的电影还真不太习惯，老爷子今年都九十多了，还拍片，真是热爱啊，居然还在电影里谈了场恋爱。
这东西只有你九十岁能拍，七十岁你还有一个过来人的说教，现在只有一个人的本质。
又一个暮年英雄的角色，一趟明知结局的旅程，和以往的作品相比要平庸一些。但91岁还在努力创作的人，除了东木老爷子应该没有第二位了吧。
相当有失水准的克林特的电影，但是为了看他，我也愿意看。可是确实是他发挥得不好的一部电影。
