The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 画面真的很美，但是剧情太水了，感觉拍成短片就已经足够了。

就很奇怪，怎么现在大陆电影都是北方人的天下？南方人呢，都在干嘛？这电影每一部看来都带着浓浓的北方口音。网络电影也给北方人占了一大片！

叙事和故事合理性还有很大调整空间，总体笑点挺多，立意也不错，社会对少数群体确实缺乏包容，这当然包括服过刑的人，希望社会未来多些包容

这种电影一般都在1到3⭐徘徊，此片也不例外。故事还是比较牵强，放着好好的日子不过不说，眼看人家女儿治病还急着要用钱，却把仅有的300多万中的300万用来做面子工程，以此达成片子的基础背景。
