The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 就。。。实在有点一般了，氛围氛围不行，剧情剧情不行，本来可以神神叨叨的内容给你来克制，但你以为厚积薄发结果是个高开低走，寓言吧也是稀里糊涂，就那样吧。。。
由多个短故事组成的片子，几乎每个故事都能看到其他经典恐怖片的标志性情节，有些篇章里营造好的氛围也随着剧情的展开一扫而空，让人无感。我是内心平静的看完的……

感觉这应该就是韩国捧小鲜肉拍的剧，就是恐怖小故事，没啥技术含量，也没头没尾的
俗套的情节、粗钝的社会评论（导演似乎单纯只是想拍破败），再加上毫无惊吓设计可言黑暗环境jump scare一招鲜。费森登拍的Wendigo比这强百倍。
1.物理专精锤子鬼 2.红衣周迅蜘蛛侠 3开始的牙医故事很戳痛点，怎么就半路剧本突变丧尸围城了呢 4.什么寄生兽吸血鬼捉迷藏缝合怪5.砸开墙挺吓人，突然吸入黑洞是什么鬼 6.没头没尾的大雄与任意橱的故事，有种拍一半都没决定拍灵异还是变态犯罪题材于是摆烂的感觉。7.公司给单身狗配鬼老婆8这又.什么手机美颜软件使用失败的故事 9.这还稍微有点诡异的人体模型，不过有些没看懂。 10.没头没尾密室逃脱。 综上 ，不值得观看，浪费两小时还没劲。
流星真的好像翔太，以前也没觉得呀。非常日本的拍法，中二的很，后来三根毛的变态老头开始终于有点紧张感了，但是后面用摄像头作弊多少奇幻了点，游戏的部分真的只能说普通
其实还可以，制作比较精良，人体木偶那个真的挺吓人，木偶那表情太吓人了，就是太短了，展开演就好了。

高度压缩版的小镇美剧，题材和方法都与之类似，没啥新意是肯定的，但还算保持了恐怖的样态。
看了半天结果就一个抽鬼牌，还只是前传...还不如同类型的狂赌呢。
发型真的好看，一点违和感没有，说实话这样的小哥cos啥我都能看！
笑死，限定时间一分钟 主角就TM可以洗牌50秒 最后10秒让看不见的对手抽吗？？？ 那干脆洗个59秒 剩最后一秒让对手来不及抽么好了

看了片头，觉得嗯这小镇破败萧条的味道立刻就有了，等继续看下去，男孩新爹破膛而出，四处杀人，却毫无感觉。原住民信奉的神话鬼怪和男孩女主的怪物父亲没连上，让故事流于表面，那些杀人、尸体场景也像被泼了盆冰水似的把“恐怖”冰封住了，克制到这种地步很难把它当成恐怖片来看
