The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 极简风的宫殿以及打光有着十分强烈的舞台剧色彩，而对于声音的运用(放大的血滴于地上与脚步声相呼应等等)，三姐妹恍若分裂人格的展现手法以及面具意象则充分发挥了电影画面的优势。黑白色调更是赋予这个故事应有的沉郁感。

这话剧感非常忠实了。加上特殊装置艺术和白幕、黑白影像，怎么讲呢，完全的戏剧+电影语言+装置艺术，1+1+1是否大于3，新思路
I have no words it’s so well made in every single aspect. I loved the witches, the birds, the leaves, the girl in the water, the monologue. Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington are THE actors of their generation. Will need a rewatch with subtitles in the future.
场景和服装上配合黑白色的冷峻 画面与剧情一样有着强烈的反差和跌宕 但并没有想象的那么科恩 反而比较中规中矩的戏剧翻牌 把舞台剧拍的不舞台并不容易 但本片对舞台剧的走位和构造都有着极为考究的运镜 但就内核而言 黑色幽默并不适合这个古朴的经典
7/10 主要优点是光影布景摄影。不知道奥斯卡会不会恢复最佳黑白摄影
不太欣赏得来这种舞台剧（古典）转换成的电影，不过总算是对《麦克白》这个IP有了一些些了解
虽然我不懂科恩兄弟这种风格，但仍然大受震撼
看过越多西方人翻拍的莎士比亚，就越觉得黑泽明的伟大
照搬罢了，即使配上了顶级的演员和绝妙的摄影，精巧的置景，这依然是照搬。

总算看完了，可能水平有限，对于莎士比亚的这种喃喃自语滔滔不绝的形式还是不喜欢。。。虽然以前看过两版《王子复仇记》(哈姆雷特)，也是因为故事情节吸引我。。。就这样吧！

7.9 每次dw的电影都会觉得他很厉害，但又喜欢不起来，production design 真的很棒。
摄影和艺术方面的精致让我这个对莎翁不是很了解的人也被吸引了，其实故事很简单，就是一个篡权后被策反的简单故事，但是因为演员的演技和整体的舞台剧感，让整个故事多了很多艺术性。黑白画质其实比起五颜六色更能烘托出人内心的恐惧和挣扎。
感觉都不像个电影了……精致的摄影+大段的莎剧独白，动用这么庞大的财力就是为了拍一部真·电影化的舞台剧?
