NYFF世界首映，科恩夫妇都来了。知道剧情，台词听不懂，只能赞赏一下摄影美学。虽然是apple tv出品，但影片开头黑屏一下转白，不由感叹这只能在影院看呐/二刷开头，麦克白从迷雾中走向镜头那一幕，绝了
像是上了一堂戏剧鉴赏课，美学价值突出，电影价值匮乏。

剧情太平淡了
上手经典进行大胆的诠释与更新，各版期望传递的讯息、选角思路以及具体背景各不相同；但灵魂依然是对权欲的无边渴望与心魔诱惑之下的失控。最出彩的是用极简的方式想象另个时空之下的皇室，空荡的走廊、由高墙和钢筋立柱树立的王位“监狱”还有仿佛没有尽头的门框…这里如此冰冷，仿佛可以吞噬所有。透过这些装置的感受，不断地与熟稔许多的故事交融；泽帝让人又爱又恨，这里是前半部分。
科恩但这回无兄弟，极简但这回无幽默，经典但这回太规矩。
很奇特，忠于莎士比亚，又不多于莎士比亚，并且，是纯然电影式的，在挖掘故事意涵上，依旧杰出。

色调非常之美。但也就比Call me by your name差了好几个Love , Simon吧。
好像话剧舞台一样的麦克白城堡。
用现实生活中的建筑材料来模仿舞台上的效果，有点像《歧路旅人》这种用精美的3d画面模仿2d的游戏。看了一半开了中文字幕，因为真的听不懂。
形式非常厉害，剪裁也很得当。极简的表现主义光影建筑竟然非常服帖。
2021版麦克白(不想数之前有多少版了)，值得一说的大概是这算是科恩兄弟分家之后 科恩哥哥的单飞之作？另外就是极简主义的舞台剧式布景和极佳的黑白摄影，以及值得称道的男女主角的表演。Period.
