The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 编排得太好了。911事件对美利坚民族来说意义非凡，由此诞生的这部作品适合全世界观看。舞台上演员在个人形象和社群形象之间灵活转换，女性、性少数群体、少数族裔、不同宗教在这里汇集。而人性的力量核心从未改变，带我们离开黑暗，带我们离开灾难。致离开的人们，你们从未真正离开。冰球场是世界上最大的步入式冰箱、几十台电话、开放图书馆专供人做宗教祷告、收容动物……我看到了人道的光辉。“不必找寻。不求得到更多安慰，但求安慰别人。不求被理解，但求理解他人。我不求被爱，但求全心全意地爱。”
看群像的剧不如看纪录片有趣。除此以外服装不合我审美。很平庸的剧。

不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。
音乐剧的音乐元素很拉胯，剧情张力就像老化的橡皮筋
官摄远远无法体现现场的魅力与观众视角的震撼 但弥补了所有的遗憾
善意与人性在危难时刻的闪光。哪个文化都有自己的阴暗面，可是最重要的是当人类超越割裂彼此之间的标签与符号，而仅仅是作为个体去尊重与交流的时刻，这样的可能性在今天的世界还存在吗？
