The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 其实剧情很普通…但是依旧是温情，哥特式的画风和一些黑色幽默也很有趣，喜欢妈妈和女儿！（在家蹦迪的奶奶也很时髦哈哈哈哈）最心疼那对求婚永远不成功的情侣哈哈
原本的歌德风格被阳光沙滩和莫名其妙不搭的流行乐取代，上一部好歹还有说说每个家庭成员的困境与烦恼，这集完全是围着星期三的工具人，剧情也莫名其妙，各种不必要的爆炸与对白，也不懂到底想传递什么讯息，一个半小时的戏居然能无聊拖沓到我频频看时间想快点结束，这部不配称为亚当斯的Road Trip！
