The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 那个大姐说的对，写自己熟悉的东西才能引起共鸣，不落俗套的歌舞片，看着各种转场衔接有点儿跳脱，回想起来却是很感动，大概就是音乐和艺术的魅力，以及加菲真是个宝藏男孩啊，没想到！

LMM首次做導演能有這個水平，他真的很有才華。這電影形式眼前一亮，展現musical行業的艱難，並致敬了LMM的知音Johnathan Larson。Broadway充滿有才華的演員，但有幾個能以此為生，感謝這些堅持夢想的人們❤️
音乐剧人致敬音乐剧人，本片也改编自拉森的音乐剧自传。节奏和情绪演绎（真人与音乐段落跳接）很有趣，可惜没在大屏幕看，但感觉看现场最合适。印象最深是和女友争吵那场戏。

20220218le。年轻剧作家短暂一生的失意时刻。唱歌跳舞不是我的菜，没什么感觉。
又焦虑又治愈，先入为主地认为凡妮莎还是适合歌舞片。
形式大于内容，表达方式大于故事本身。中规中矩。
还行。非常强的theater kid风。就看你接不接受这个风格了。但良心话，这片的CG做得太丑了…
各方面都令人想要和《爱乐之城》对比。但本片无论是音乐上还是对爱情与梦想之间挣扎的表现，都差了许多。
第二季
只记得那天晚上做了个感受真切的不快乐的梦，醒来躺在沙发上边看边哭。
请到演过各版Rent的演员出演片中的角色，用其中的调子写歌，其实也是为了表现Jon的灵感全部来自生活各处。于是最终我们无法说清，究竟是在倒数时刻里看到吉屋出租的影子，还是在吉屋出租里，其实我们看见的本就满是Jon的生活。
歌舞片不会死。
