The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 典型的美国篮球运动电影, 非常励志非常热血. Bo的经历不知道是不是球员的真实经历,似乎除了男主以外，别人的level都是匹配真实的。不知道Antman是不是真的这么喜欢垃圾话。 也算是给观众另一个视角去体验一份接触不到的工作之NBA球探。

联盟每年会有一次选秀，但只有最多60个名额，很多人会落选。 落选秀可以去发展联盟等待机会、可以参加夏季联赛，期待被人发掘，有成功案例，但是，寥寥无几。 NBA这个大舞台，可能每一天都有故事在发生，有人离开，有人进来，有人兑现了天赋，有人谱写了励志故事，有人泯然众人…… 这部电影很真实呈现了一些东西：比如赛场上的互喷垃圾话，好乱对方心态（此处甚觉爱德华兹如果没有打球，可能会成为不错的演员！），联合选秀体测…… 还有就是NBA就是一门生意场，很多的也是人情世故，这边帮忙加进去名单，那边赏识你让你做助教…… 最后的感慨：埃尔南戈麦斯最近被爵士裁掉了……
