The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 有一说一嗷，我一般不给这么低的分，但是霸权社+荒木哲郎+虚渊玄+小畑健+泽野弘之，这么好的配置，你给我整出个这玩意儿。。
整部电影观感极佳，看完之后仍然意犹未尽，但回顾时就发现不少问题，想必这就是荒木导演的功力了。泽野弘之配乐大部分时候堪称神级，但比赛跑酷时人声部分十分出戏。剧本设定很棒，但感情线情感不够饱满，剧情线俗套，开拓世界观的支线如走马观花，只能说基本及格。画人物时偶尔画成樱兰高校的效果属实让人一言难尽。但瑕不掩瑜，构图极佳，色彩斑斓如艺术，动作丝滑，节奏完美，立意不俗。总分7.5/10
2022年了还是人鱼公主最终为爱化为泡沫，阵容越大，翻车越不奇怪，可怕。
抄袭美人鱼故事扣一星，自私利己主意价值观扣一星，男主的泰王同款露脐装扣一星。

两星半，我的天呐多好的题材啊拍成这样就离谱，这电影拍的到底是什么啊！这个题材多好啊！多少冲突可以探讨啊！多现实啊！是我会从头哭到尾的题材啊！这是什么！这拍的是什么啊！
作画和视觉特效都很好，但故事没说好，可惜了

虚渊玄这是念了金刚经？一切有为法，如梦幻泡影；如露，亦如电，应作如是观。立意其实很高，但奈何放在整个作品里面就挺割裂的。
动画效果做得再好，没有一个好的故事作为内核始终是不行的，真的是个泡泡
2020平遥电影节，叙事太冗长了有点不耐烦

太老套了 都什么时代了 还在讲女生为爱情牺牲自己的故事
映后跟朋友讨论，朋友第一句话就是：这导演是个长镜头之王啊！！！拿了龙标，快快上映，我要二刷！！！！
感觉女主有点出戏，特别是推着轮椅带爸爸往雾中走了时候，舞台感有点强。好多长镜头还挺不错的，一直在家中的小空间转，有种大家都被困住的感觉。
