The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 各种脱离现实的剧情发展和逻辑问题贯穿全片，让人觉得这不是一部灾难片而是科幻片；那些获救的人也不是普通人而是超级战士！难以想象《摩天楼》居然是同一个导演拍的......

一般般的灾难片，不带脑子可以看看，一些生活中笑料还行，苦逼的中年大叔，兼职多到数不清，干死成功的买房科长，为了家庭爱好只有一个摇椅。首尔的房价也是傲视全球的存在。

韩国人拍烂片也是不觑多让，不能只烂一点，要整片都烂得均匀才好。
住房焦虑外化成地陷灾难的点子挺贴合房价飞涨的韩国时下，但所有关乎房子的问题全都依靠台词输出而无关主题的灾难类型元素则都以视觉呈现，可真算是一种分不清主次的叙事策略。
